The Gloucester Hockey Association (GHA) administers minor hockey for the communities of Blackburn, Gloucester Centre, Leitrim, Metcalfe, Orleans and Russell. The GHA is one of the largest districts within Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO) with more than 3000 registered participants.
We offer minor hockey programming starting at Initiation U7 (Timbits) up to U21 (formerly known as Juvenile) including houseleague and competitive play.
Houseleague programs run through the local associations of Blackburn, Gloucester Centre, Leitrim, Metcalfe, Orleans and Russsell. Teams from these associations play in the GHA House League which offers play at the House A, B and C divisions in most age groupings.
The GHA supplies players to competitive AAA programs offered through the Ottawa Jr 67s, Upper Ottawa Valley Cyclones and the Eastern Ontario Wild. District wide competitive AA and A teams are administered by the Gloucester Rangers. Competitive Rep B is also offered through the The Blues (combined teams with players from Blackburn, Gloucester Centre and Orleans), the Leitrim Hawks and the Castor Valley Canucks (combined teams with players from Metcalfe, Russell and sometimes Leitrim).
